Documentary on Muhammad Ali, the boxing legend and his life and times. This had all of us friends, well wishers, sports journalists, promoters talking about the man, whose greatness transcended the sport. People who never followed boxing, started looking upto Muhammad Ali because of his boxing exploits. The movie starts with his young life, when his cycle got stolen and he decided he wanted to fight whoever stole his bike to his first ever bout, his first world championship, his bouts with Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, the famous Rumble in the Jungle, the Thrilla in Manila. His refusal to draft for the Vietnam and his fight with the government over, his conversion to Islam and his later degeneration to Parkinsons. This had all the short snippets from his boxing matches, but nowhere does the documentary talk about his boxing skills, his legendary footwork, his deftness in the ring, his training, etc. It would have been great if the movie had focused on that as well. From a motor mouth to somebody who could not talk in the latter years of his life, Muhammad Ali is one great champion.
